Avio-Diepen acquires assets and trade & inventory sales activities of Schreiner & Co.

The Netherlands. Avio-Diepen, one of the leading independent distributors in the aerospace industry, has acquired assets and the trade & inventory sales activities of Schreiner & Co B.V., currently named Heli-One (Netherlands) B.V.

The transaction is based on the complementary fit of these activities and Avio Diepen's activities.. Vincent van Campen, President of Avio-Diepen said: "We are confident that the customers and suppliers will benefit strongly from this transaction. Both companies have been operating more than 60 years successfully in the aviation industry. The synergies will support a stronger role in the military and helicopter market. " The trade and inventory sales activities of Schreiner & Co B.V. will be continued by Avio Diepen under the name of AD-S&Co B.V. as of November 1st 2006.
