ManTech Wins $49M SeaPort Contract To Provide Acoustic System Support To Navy
(FAIRFAX, Va., Jan. 11, 2007) -- ManTech International Corporation (Nasdaq:MANT), a leading provider of innovative technologies and solutions focused on mission-critical national security programs for the Intelligence Community; the Departments of Defense, State, Homeland Security and Justice; the Space Community; and other U.S. federal government customers announced today that it received a contract in the fourth quarter of 2006 to provide engineering services in support of ship signature, measurement and silencing programs for the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD). The five-year, competitively awarded, performance-based task order, issued under the SeaPort Enhanced multiple award contract, has a total potential value to ManTech of $49 million and continues ManTech's longstanding support of this customer.
Operating in locations within the continental U.S. and throughout the world, ManTech will perform acoustic sensor and processing systems development, test and evaluation, surface ship and submarine acoustic measurements, shipboard and land based infrastructure and facility support, and program management.
