(Redmond, Wash., March 5, 2007) -- Crane Aerospace & Electronics, a segment of Crane Co. (NYSE:CR), has received an award to manufacture Athena Technologies' Micro GuideStar Main Board Assembly, for installation into their Micro GuideStar unit. Crane received the award for both prototype and production Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) with production delivery requirements beginning in March 2007.

Crane provides quick turnaround electronic manufacturing solutions (high mix, low/medium volume) for circuit cards (through-hole and SMT), box build and cables/harnesses in their Albuquerque facility. Allan Day, Albuquerque General Manager said, "We are very pleased to provide our capabilities to this important new product for the aerospace and defense market."

Dr. David Vos, Athena's CEO and CTO said, "The Micro GuideStar is a revolutionary advanced integrated sensor suite that offers a complete INS/GPS navigation solution, with the option of hosting flight control software in a "plug & play" installation.
