Argon ST, Inc. Announces Contract Awards to Upgrade ISR Systems

(Fairfax, Va., March 27, 2007) -- Argon ST, Inc. (NASDAQ:STST), today announced that it has been awarded important contracts for Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance (ISR) support to a diverse set of government authorities. The four contracts combine to have a funded total value of $22 million. The total base value of the contracts is more than $38.9M and various options add another $15.3M.

Kerry Rowe, COO of Argon ST noted that the contract work not only represents additional warfighting capacity to the company's customers, but the contracts also represent a sterling example of Argon ST's flexible and adaptable architecture which is specifically designed for technology insertion and open architecture. "This is essential," Rowe noted, "to fighting and winning in today's asymmetric warfare environment in which ISR systems must adapt faster than threat technology." Argon ST is known for, among other things, industry leading use of commercial off-the-shelf technology and software-based ISR systems to meet the mission of the day and the threat of the hour.
