(Jacksonville, Fla., April 2, 2007) -- Armor Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AH), a leading manufacturer and distributor of military vehicles, vehicle armor systems and life safety and survivability systems serving military, law enforcement, homeland security and commercial markets, announced today the receipt of a $345 million order for production of additional Family of Medium Tactical Vehicle (FMTV) trucks and trailers from the U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM). The Company advised that the order is made under the existing multi-year FMTV production contract, with work to be performed in 2007 and 2008 by the Armor Holdings Aerospace & Defense Group at its facilities located in Sealy, Texas.
