Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 IDS certified for Piaggio 180

(Cedar Rapids, Iowa, April 19, 2007) -- The Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 Integrated Display System (IDS) has been certified on a Piaggio 180 aircraft. The installation was performed by Jet Works in Denton, Texas.

"Pro Line 21 IDS offers Piaggio 180 operators a path to larger informative LCD displays with new content - such as electronic charts and graphical weather available from our IFIS (Integrated Flight Information System) offering to increase situational awareness and aircraft value," said Denny Helgeson, vice president and general manager, Business and Regional Systems for Rockwell Collins. "This upgrade can also include the latest attitude and heading reference system - the AHS-3000 - for enhanced reliability."
