Cobham Delivers 1000th Refuelling System to EADS-CASA

(June, 2007) -- Cobham has delivered the 1000th Refuelling System to EADS-CASA marking a significant milestone in the aerospace industry.

The 905E wing air refuelling pods are integrated onto the A330 Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) for the Royal Australian Air Force. EADS-CASA is under contract to the Commonwealth of Australia to provide five A330 MRTTs - each fitted with 905E probe and drogue refuelling systems.

This heritage and expertise positions Cobham as the genuine low risk provider of integrated refuelling systems. Cobham has successfully qualified and delivered air refuelling systems for six tanker programmes over the last three years: C-130 E/H/J, A310 MRTT, Su30 buddy store and Omega DC-10.

In addition, the successful A330 MRTT programme is about to enter flight test and the development of the 908E wing air refuelling pod for A400M is progressing well."
