(Arlington, Va., July 12, 2007) -- Stanley, Inc. (NYSE: SXE), a leading provider of systems integration and professional services to the U.S. Federal Government, today announced the award of a five- year contract with a $267 million ceiling to operate the Field Logistics Readiness Center (FLRC)-Campbell in Fort Campbell, Ky. and the Bluegrass Army Maintenance Activity (BAMA) in Lexington, Ky., for the U.S. Army Sustainment Command (ASC), G-3, Field Logistics Readiness Division.
Under the contract, Stanley will provide maintenance, supply and production control services for Army systems as well as other professional logistics management services required for support of FLRC Campbell-BAMA customers, including the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and the Army Tank and Automotive Command (TACOM). Stanley is partnered on this effort with Eagle Support Services, SRA International, BMAR, and small businesses M&E Technical Services, Axicor Incorporated, Orion Technologies, and
Technica LLC.
This task order, the first awarded under the Army's Field and Installation Readiness Support Team (FIRST) ID/IQ contract, builds upon Stanley's experience supporting the Army's major logistics and operational initiatives. Stanley currently operates FLRCs in Lumberton, N.C. and Germersheim, Germany. Both sites repair Army tactical power generation equipment and support a wide variety of other Army tactical systems under RESET and unit readiness programs.
"Stanley has supported the FLRC network since 1998 through development and operation of the automated maintenance and supply management system," said Dave Fowler, Stanley's account manager for Army logistics support operations. "We have been a long-time partner with the ASC Field Logistics Readiness Division and its predecessor organization, the FORSCOM Materiel Management Center, in the development of the FLRC network. Stanley was awarded the initial task order supporting the network in 1998 under the LOGJAMSS contract. We are proud of this relationship and look forward to continuing our support of the Army's readiness requirements through FIRST, the successor contract to LOGJAMSS."
