Offshore Systems Signs Contract to Upgrade The Royal Danish Navy's ECPINS Software
(Ottawa, Canada, December 6, 2007) -- Offshore Systems Ltd. announced that it has secured a contract valued at approximately US$750,000 with the Royal Danish Navy to provide an upgrade to their world leading ECPINS warship navigation software, in addition to a limited hardware upgrade. This will upgrade the Royal Danish Navy systems to the latest version of ECPINS and more significantly to a common software baseline across their Fleet and shore establishments.
"The Royal Danish Navy has been a longstanding and valued customer of our military ECDIS solutions. The move to the latest version of software and a common software baseline across the Fleet and shore establishments is a logical step that will simplify training, logistical support and provide a uniform capability to operators and maintainers alike," says Jim Davison, Director of Sales.
