LaBarge Lands $9.2 M in Contracts From Raytheon for Tactical Tomahawk Program

(St. Louis, February 6, 2008) -- LaBarge, Inc. (AMEX: LB) has been awarded $9.2 million in contracts from Raytheon Missile Systems to continue to provide cables and electronic assemblies for the Tactical Tomahawk cruise missile. The Company anticipates follow-on orders.

The U.S. Navy deploys Tactical Tomahawk missiles from surface ships and submarines. The Tomahawk has become the Navy's weapon of choice for critical long-range, precision strike missions against heavily defended and politically sensitive targets. In addition, a remote operator can redirect the Tactical Tomahawk to a new target during flight as well as direct the missile to loiter above the battlefield while it awaits an assignment.

Production on the contracts at LaBarge's Joplin, Mo., and Huntsville, Ark., facilities began in January 2008 and is expected to continue for about a year. LaBarge is a Raytheon preferred supplier and a recipient of Raytheon's prestigious Leadership Excellence Award.
