NGC Awarded Instructor Program Contract

(Herndon, Va., February 27, 2008) -- The U.S. Army has awarded Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) a firm-fixed-price contract valued at up to $30 million over three years to provide instructors and instructor support at the U.S. Army Armor Center at Fort Knox, Ky.

The contract supports the "Grow the Army" initiative, which will increase the Army end strength by more than 74,000 additional soldiers across Army active-duty, Guard and Reserve components by the end of Fiscal Year 2010.

"The Northrop Grumman team brings world-class performance to our warfighting customer," said Frank Thompson, program manager for the Northrop Grumman Technical Services sector. "Our team brings specific knowledge and experience in the development and instruction of tasks, lessons and courses at the center and more importantly, recent relevant experience in the field."

"We are proud to be part of this great effort to support the Army meet its demands for supporting the Global War on Terrorism," said Mike Roberts, vice president and general manager of the Training and Simulation Group of Northrop Grumman's Technical Services sector. "Our demonstrated superior approach to training and management are enablers for the Army to accomplish its mission."
