QinetiQ and COMSOFT - a Promising Partnership

ATM solution provider COMSOFT and UK's leading defence and security expert QinetiQ once more associate in a technology joint venture to boost their activities in the sensor technology for ADS-B and multilateration.

(Karlsruhe, Germany/Hampshire, UK, March 2008) -- QinetiQ is an international defence and security technology business based in the UK with more than five decades of heritage in air traffic management. COMSOFT with headquarters in Germany is a recognized system supplier and integrator for the air navigation service market with a global customer base. In 2006 the companies became risk and revenue sharing partners to further develop superior solutions for future surveillance technologies addressing both, the civil and military ATM market. The consequence of this partnership is the QUADRANT ADS-B and multilateration sensor.

To enforce their successful partnership agreement focusing on the marketing and sales of the QUADRANT product line, both companies now agreed on a further companionship in form of a technology joint venture.
