BAE Receives Order Worth $14.8 M for MOLLE Components

(Phoenix, March 12, 2008) -- BAE Systems has been awarded a $14.8 million follow-on order from the Defense Logistics Agency for production of Core Rifleman and Large Rucksack Modular Lightweight Load Carrying Equipment (MOLLE) system sets. The MOLLE system is the primary field equipment piece for the U.S. Armed Forces and incorporates 37 components. Primarily comprised of vests, pockets, packs, and hydration systems, the MOLLE system enables soldiers to carry the necessary equipment critical to their mission.
