Raytheon Wins Its 1st Contract With Johnson Space Center

Perform Flight Controller And Instructor Training Needs Analysis

(Reston, Va., April 2, 2008) -- Raytheon Technical Services Company LLC (RTSC), a subsidiary of Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN), has been selected by NASA's Johnson Space Center to assist in implementing a new training model for flight controllers and instructors.

The contract expands the scope of RTSC's training support solutions with NASA to front-end training design, giving the company an opportunity to positively influence the way NASA trains flight controllers and instructors for space vehicle knowledge operations.

"We will reduce the cost and time it takes to train flight controllers and instructors at the same time we improve the quality and efficiency of training," said Blaine Salvador, vice president of the Mission Support Solutions product line of RTSC's Integrated Support Solutions business.
