LaBarge Awarded $1.6 m to Support LM MMSR System

(St. Louis, May 6, 2008) -- LaBarge, Inc. (AMEX: LB) has been awarded a $1.6 million contract from Lockheed Martin's Radar Systems line of business to provide circuit card assemblies for the company's new TPS-79 Multi-Mission Surveillance Radar (MMSR) system.

The TPS-79 MMSR system is a mobile, medium-range, air surveillance radar that can provide critical surface and low-altitude air coverage for military air defense, air traffic control or coastal surveillance missions. Its performance, high availability and survivability make it ideal for short- to mid-range airspace surveillance. The highly mobile radar can easily be transported by truck, air, rail or sea and can be deployed in less than 60 minutes.
