CAE Begins Expansion of North East Training Centre

- Hawker Beechcraft 800XPi simulator arrives on site
- Other platforms to be added include Gulfstream 200, Bombardier Challenger 300 and Falcon 50EX

(Geneva, Switzerland, May 19, 2008) -- CAE has launched a major expansion to its business aviation training centre in Morristown, New Jersey, increasing the number of simulator bays from six to 15 as part of its continuing plan to grow its corporate aircraft training business. The expansion of the CAE North East Training Centre is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2008. CAE also announced the entry into service of its Gulfstream G450/550 full-flight simulator and the arrival of a Hawker Beechcraft 800XPi full-flight simulator on site.

Training for Gulfstream G450 and G550, including initial and recurrent training has already begun. Classes for the Hawker Beechcraft 800XPi started in May. In addition to those aircraft types, the North East Training Centre offers training for the Dassault Falcon 7X, Falcon 900EX EASy/2000EX EASy, Gulfstream IV and Sikorsky S76B C+.

Other platforms will be added in the near future, including complete training programs for the Gulfstream 200, Bombardier Challenger 300, and Falcon 50EX. They are part of CAE's global business aviation expansion announced at NBAA in September 2007. At the show, CAE announced it was increasing its training programs worldwide to address 90% of all business aviation aircraft and cover all major OEMs.

"By expanding our business aviation training footprint to address more aircraft, we are offering more choices to our customers and bringing our training services closer to more corporate operators than ever before," said Jeff Roberts, CAE's Group President, Innovation and Civil Training & Services. "We are proud to provide the highest quality training and equipment to our customers."
