Successful Signal for BADR 6 Satellite With Thales Alenia Space Payload

(Cannes, July 18, 2008) -- The telecommunication satellite BADR-6 (Arabsat 4AR), boosted into orbit today by an Ariane 5 on July, 7, has delivered the first signals provided by the payload built by Thales Alenia Space for Astrium, prime contractor of the Arabsat 4 program. The operationnal services should start since mid August.
