BAE Wins Prime Contractor Position on $6.9 Bn F2AST Contract
(Dayton, Ohio, August 18, 2008) -- BAE Systems has been named as one of the prime contractors on the U.S. Air Force's service's Future Flexible Acquisition and Sustainment Tool (F2AST) contract. This indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract could be worth up to $6.9 billion divided among the prime contractors. BAE Systems work on this contract will be performed at locations across the United States.

"As an incumbent on the existing FAST contract, we'll continue our role of providing innovative solutions and services to meet the Readiness and Sustainment requirements of our customer."
