Oman Air selects Rockwell Collins Airshow 4200D for A330 fleet

(Long Beach, Calif., September 10, 2008) -- Oman Air has selected Rockwell Collins to provide its Airshow 4200D Moving Map and Flight Information System for seven of the airline's Airbus 330 fleet. The first aircraft will be delivered in August 2009.

"Airshow 4200D will connect Oman Air's passengers to the world by giving them the ability to track their flight on high definition maps in digital widescreen formats," said Barry Brown, vice president, Commercial at Oman Air.

"Our latest generation Airshow 4200D continues to be successful with its value proposition - to provide passengers with real-time information about their flights with the highest level of product reliability," said Tommy Dodson, vice president and general manager of Cabin Systems for Rockwell Collins.
