Rockwell Collins Selected to Provide E-2D Integrated Training System

(Ceder Rapids, Iowa, September 10, 2008) -- Rockwell Collins has been selected by the U.S. Navy to provide the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye Integrated Training System for Aircrew (HITS-A). The initial contract award is $68 million, with a total target price of $164 million.

"This contract establishes Rockwell Collins as the leading supplier of instructional systems, media and training equipment for the U.S. Navy's E-2D Advanced Hawkeye platform," said Ken Schreder, vice president and general manager of Simulation & Training Solutions for Rockwell Collins. "We believe our track record in providing best-value design and support training systems for the Navy was instrumental in receiving this award."
