ITT Wins Force Protection Contract in Kosovo

(Colorado Springs, Colo., September 11, 2008) -- The U.S. Army, Europe (USAREUR) Wiesbaden Contracting Center, Germany, announced that it has awarded the Task Force Falcon Force Protection Services contract to ITT Corporation (NYSE: ITT). This contract provides force protection and installation security for the multinational peacekeeping force at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo. The award is for one base year with two one-year options and has a value of $39 million with all options exercised. Work will be performed by ITT's Systems Division, headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The mission of NATO's Kosovo Force (KFOR) is to provide peacekeeping operations, humanitarian assistance, and aid in the transition to a civilian government in the former Republic of Yugoslavia. Task Force Falcon is the American component of KFOR and is based at Camp Bondsteel. ITT will provide physical and electronic security, quality assurance, equipment supply and management of government furnished equipment at the camp, allowing Task Force Falcon's soldiers to concentrate on critical mission tasks.
