Air Arabia Selects Rockwell Collins to Supply Avionics for 59 Aircraft
(Cedar Rapids, Iowa, October 1, 2008) -- Air Arabia has selected Rockwell Collins to provide a comprehensive package of communication, navigation and surveillance avionics for 59 new Airbus A320 family aircraft (44 firm plus 5 option aircraft are direct purchase; 3 to be leased from Royal Bank of Scotland Group (RBS); 3 to be leased from International Lease Finance Corp (ILFC); and 4 to be leased from AerCap). Deliveries of these aircraft are scheduled to be delivered from 2009 through 2013.
