(Dubai, U.A.E., November 18, 2008) -- Emirates-CAE Flight Training (ECFT) signed contracts with Falcon Aviation Services and Elite Jets for customized pilot training at the Dubai centre. The training programs will include simulator training, enhanced classroom-based training and crew resource management (CRM).

Elite Jets

Middle Eastern private charter service provider, Elite Jets, signed a three-year agreement with ECFT for Gulfstream G450 and Hawker 850XP training.

"In accordance with our mission statement and core values, Elite Jets significantly invests in the level of training of our flight crew to comply with the highest company training standards which are over and above the regulatory minimum requirements", stated Ammar Balkar, CEO of Elite Jets.

Falcon Aviation Services

Falcon Aviation Services (FAS) signed a three-year contract with ECFT for its growing fleet of Bell 412 helicopters. Pilots will receive customized training which will include various search and rescue scenarios for the Bell 412.

"ECFT will afford us greater flexibility in our training schedules and provide a cost-effective alternative to existing training programs which require extensive travel and downtime for our aircraft. Moreover, we will be able to maintain our on-going training to the highest international standards for our crews right on our doorstep," said Captain Salem Al Kayoumi, Chairman of Falcon Aviation.

FAS is the fastest growing helicopter operator in the region and provides services in the tourism, VIP/ corporate, Search and Rescue and offshore Oil & Gas Support. The company also provides aircraft maintenance and management services. With a current fleet of 11 helicopters and 2 corporate jets, FAS is poised to continue its spectacular growth with firm orders for 26 helicopters and corporate jets.

ECFT is home to the only Level D Bell 412 FFS with JAA and FAA approval in the Middle East, Africa and Europe. To date, more than 30 clients including private airlines, offshore operators, police forces and companies specializing in search and rescue, train their Bell 412 pilots through various programs offered by ECFT.

"We are excited to further diversify our client base with the addition of Falcon Aviation and Elite Jets and are proud to offer best-in-class, fully customizable training services," said Walter Visser, Vice President and Managing Director, ECFT. "Our cost-effective programs allow our clients to continue using their fleets to serve customer needs during pilot training. Simulators also provide a safe environment to practice scenarios which would be impossible in a live training session."
