(Orlando, Fla., November 25, 2008) -- Lockheed Martin Corporation (NYSE: LMT) has been selected by the U.S. Navy for a firm fixed price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) performance based logistics (PBL) maintenance and support services for the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps beginning with an initial $26 million task order. The overall five-year contract with a $221 million ceiling has two additional one-year options and will provide PBL for up to 500 U.S. Navy and Marine Corps hybrid, radio frequency, communications navigation and instrumentation CASS stations.

"We have developed a range of cost-effective solutions by leveraging existing infrastructure, developing new technology and improving the business process for the Navy under CASS PBL," explained Debra Palmer, vice president of logistics at Lockheed Martin Simulation, Training & Support. "This is designed to serve the Navy's needs, first by developing the CASS program and by providing the excellent support they have come to expect."
