(FAIRFAX, Va., Sept. 18, 2006) -- ManTech International Corporation (Nasdaq:MANT), a leading provider of innovative technologies and solutions focused on mission-critical national security programs for the Intelligence Community; the Departments of Defense, State, Homeland Security, and Justice; the Space Community; and other U.S. federal government customers, announced today that it has received a task order to support the Central Technical Support Facility (CTSF), Fort Hood, Texas. ManTech will support security, telecommunications, facilities management, logistics and inventory control management at the base, and also provide limited test and training assistance. The CTSF houses the integration, testing, and fielding support of the software on all Army Battle Command Systems. It is under the control of the Army Chief Information Officer and the Program Executive Officer Command, Control and Communications Tactical.

ManTech is a subcontractor to Computer Sciences Corporation for this task, under the Communications-Electronic Life Cycle Management Command, Strategic Services Sourcing contract. The competitively awarded task order, which has a three-year base, and one twelve-month option, has an estimated total potential value to ManTech of $47.9 million over four years.

"ManTech personnel have been supporting various functions at Fort Hood for approximately 25 years," said Robert Smith, Senior Vice President, C3 Systems, ManTech Defense Systems Group. "We take great pride in our past performance and the success we have had supporting that customer."

"The U.S. Army's command system transformation program is a central mission at Fort Hood and ManTech has been working with the Army on this effort since it began in earnest more than a decade ago," said Eugene C. Renzi, President of ManTech's Defense Systems Group, and ManTech Senior Executive Vice President. "We are uniquely qualified to support these activities at Fort Hood because of our knowledge of the operations at Fort Hood, our highly skilled personnel who are located on site and our broad expertise supporting integrated logistics; systems engineering; test and evaluation; Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR), and other total sustainment solutions and services which support the Warfighter."
